Dirk A. Wolf
Dirk A. Wolf illustrated for Hard Shell from January 1998 until his murder on 2nd November, 2005. He was responsible for about 3/4 of our covers and won numerous awards, both for individual covers and for recognition of his complete works. He attended the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point for 2 years, majoring in new media arts.
One of Mary's many hats as owner of Hard Shell Word Factory is art department manager, which includes creating some of the book covers, designing brochures, ads and web site graphics. Mary studied art in college and has several years experience in graphics and web design. Besides awards for many of her covers, she's won several state and regional level awards for her watercolor paintings and other artwork.
